Anime Kingdom Tokyo Day Tour (1 Day)
Come and join one of our private guides on this fun anime tour in Tokyo for the whole family! Dive into the world of anime, manga, and subculture while learning more about Japanese culture.
Anime Tour Package Description
Many people love anime because of the very real plots, storylines full of emotions, drama, and in some cases great exaggeration of the actions that are performed by the characters. Japanese anime can be easily recognized by the drawing style where characters have large eyes, outrageous haircuts, and humanized bodies.
We newly developed an awesome private family-friendly tour in Tokyo focused on anime. Anyone who is a devout anime fan will love this tour, but it is also a great tour to do for people who want to be introduced to Japanese subcultures and youth culture.

Tokyo Anime Tour Highlights
Tokyo Anime Tour Itinerary
Morning 8.30 am: your English-speaking guide will wait for you at your hotel lobby in Tokyo, and you will take the metro or train to your first destination, the Tokyo Skytree. This is the highest tower in Japan, an amazing construction to see with a great view of the whole city from the observatory deck and it is full of anime attractions including a Pokemon shop. Then, you will go to Tokyo Station for Anime Street where your guide will show you many small anime-related shops in the underground maze of the station. You will have lunch around the area, your guide will recommend you a few great options such as ramen noodles.
Afternoon: Today’s highlight is the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. It’s notoriously difficult to get the tickets individually, but we will arrange them for you. After having been immersed in Ghibli’s magical world, you will emerge in the normal world again and visit the lesser-known but very interesting Ikebukuro area, where you will visit the Jump shop to get amazed by the various merchandise featuring all your favorite anime characters, slightly odd but highly interesting Namja Town, etc. The tour disbands in Ikebukuro.
