Small Group Tour Japan (Cherry Blossoms and Amusement Park Package) Description
This small group tour is full of fun destinations that are loved by travelers of all ages, and because you’re coming during the peak of the cherry blossom season in 2023, we added some of the best sakura spots to the itinerary as well! The tour starts with two of the most popular amusement parks in Japan, Disneyland, and DisneySea. You will get plenty of time to discover them by yourself, and we arrange your tickets. On days 4 and 5 you will tour various destinations in Tokyo, including the best cherry blossom spots and subculture-related areas. Of course, the Ghibli Museum is also included on the itinerary.
On the 6th day, we move to Nagoya, where you will visit the brand-new Ghibli Park which is very hard to enter still. Next up are Kyoto and Osaka, where you will see the cities’ best highlights and sakura spots while learning more about the history and culture of Japan. And to end this trip spectacularly, you will visit Universal Studios Japan where you will have priority access to the exciting world of Super Mario!

Welcome to Japan! You will be greeted by our driver at the airport and get a transfer to your hotel near Disneyland by private van. You will have the rest of the afternoon to explore nearby Tokyo by yourself. You can check in at your hotel from 3 PM.

Today, the guide picks you up at the hotel at 9 AM and you will get a transfer to your Tokyo hotel where you will leave your luggage. Then, you will head into Tokyo for a city tour by public transportation on which the guide will show you the best cherry blossom spots in Tokyo like the Chidorigafuchi moat and the cherry tree-lined banks of the river in Nakameguro that are beautifully lit up at night!

Today will be a day full of great subculture destinations! The first stop on this anime, manga, and game-focused tour will be the popular but hard-to-get-into Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. After diving into the mysterious world of Studio Ghibli, we will make a stop at the fantastic Pokemon Center in Ikebukuro to see and possibly buy Pikachu and his friends. Today’s tour ends in Akihabara. This neighborhood has been known as a paradise for subculture lovers for decades, and one of the things you will experience here is an arcade visit.

Today we are getting on the bullet train, or shinkansen, to go to Nagoya where we will visit the amazing and newly opened Ghibli Park. It is very hard to arrange tickets for this dreamy park that meticulously recreated the world of some of the most famous anime movies from Japan, so this chance is very unique. After taking our time to thoroughly enjoy the park, we will head back to Nagoya to visit Nagoya Castle around which many cherry trees will be in bloom.

In the morning, you will go to Kyoto by Shinkansen. The guide will then take you on a tour of the best that Kyoto has to offer; the golden pavilion of the Kinkakuji and the famous sweeping views from the Kiyomizu temple are even more beautiful during the cherry blossom season. You will also get a kimono dress-up experience so you can take the most atmospheric photos! Today, we will stay in Ryokan, Ryokan experience ! Ryokan is located in old section and you can walk around near Ryokan on your own, very quiet, completely different during day time.

After breasfast, we take a local train to Osaka which brings us there within 1 hour. Leaving the luggage at the hotel, the guide will then take you on an Osaka walking tour that features Osaka Castle, the modern Umeda Sky Building, and the colorful Dotonbori area. For lunch, you get to sample an Osaka delicacy called kushiage, delectable fried meat, and vegetables on a skewer.
