Attractions near Hamamatsucho Station

Hamamatsucho station in Tokyo is a big station on the JR Yamanote and Keihin-Tohoku lines, Toei Oedo and Asakusa lines, and the Tokyo Monorail to go to Haneda Airport, so it is a well-connected area. The small but beautiful Kyu Shiba Rikyu garden and larger and more famous Hamarikyu Gardens are nearby. And the outside food market of Tsukiji is worth a visit for lovers of local food. The Seaside Top Observatory is an inexpensive viewpoint with great views of the city day and night.

The Shimbashi area with its many local bars and restaurants is within walking distance, as well as the Tokyo Tower and the impressive Zojoji temple. Also, the bustling shopping area of Ginza, Tokyo Station, and the Imperial Palace are all nearby. It is also easy to discover the less touristy eastern downtown areas of Tokyo, Monzennakacho, Kiyosumi Shirakawa, and Ryogoku are a few train stops away.

Hamamatsucho is a good area to look for a hotel if you want to be at a convenient location but if you don’t want to stay in a crowded and noisy area in Tokyo.
